WORK

CREATIVE BUSINESS CONSULTANTS IN JAPAN

1 month in TOKYO, 4 Hyper Island students, 3 Clients.

Our team was 2 Digital Data Strategist and 2 Digital Business students and we worked as a Creative Business Consultant team for HEAPS, a Japanese Media Agency

We helped ACE, a Japanese NGO find a new, more long term strategy for fundraising. We designed a product concept for JTB, a Japanese travel agency who wanted to target Taiwanese millennials travelling to Japan and we consulted HEAPS, helping them reimagine their company structure, purpose & target clients.

DIVING INTO THE BAY AREA WORK CULTURE

Interested in Work Culture and Creativity in Business I travelled to the Bay Area for 3 weeks is to experience what happens in Silicon Valley in terms of 1) Innovation Challenges, 2) Collaboration and creative processes and 3) Work Culture.

I talked to pioneering companies, unicorns, VC’s, startups, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, agencies, consultancies, co-working spaces, accelerators, incubators and anyone else who wants to share. I listened, observed and collected perspectives on work culture from as many people/stakeholders as possible, including UBER Drivers.

THE FUTURE OF LEADERSHIP ACCORDING TO 5 DIGITAL BUSINESS STUDENTS

A research project. Me and my team share our take on the Future of Leadership in a Digital Economy and invite Hyper Island R&D and Kairos Future into the mix.
Questions we asked ourselves were "How do we want to be led?", "What are the qualities we want in a leader?" and "How will tech influence leadership?"

72H SOCIETY HACK - TRANSDEV & GULLERS GROUP

How could we create a tool for commuters to create the public transportation they need?

Our solution is a crowdfunding-based tool allows commuters to decide what routes they will use, which will secure the sustainability of the business model for Transdev.

Our concept was picked as 1 of 3 winners by the client, saying it is "a new way of funding public transport"

The project is protected by NDA, so email schalck.helene@gmail.com
